Ďáblice Garden Centre is part of Lesy hl. m. Prahy, the City of Prague public service organisation responsible for planting and maintaining public greenery across the capital. The history of the Ďáblice garden centre reaches back to the 1920s. The original nursery, intended to supply planting stock for Prague’s parks, was founded at the rear of the Ďáblice Cemetery as early as 1924.

Today, with 15 hectares, it is one of the largest growing and retail centres in Prague. Greenery has been cultivated here without interruption for more than 100 years.

The garden centre offers a wide range of high-quality ornamental and fruit plants. A large share of the plants on offer are grown or finished on site, so they are accustomed to the local climate and soil and establish well after planting.
We also work to bring traditional plants back into urban greenery and gardens — among them hydrangeas, peonies and several evergreen broadleaves. Besides park planting, we can supply material for tree avenues, biocorridors and other green areas.
